| We had a fire that was started in the nearby mountains from a couple guys target shooting. Needless to say, it got a little too close for comfort! This picture is taken from my front porch. Many homes up by the Elementary school had to evacuate. We were not forced to evacuate, but the smoke eventually was too much to handle...so we left just for the day to find some cleaner air to breath. Fortunately, they were able to get the fires out without damage to any homes. Scary stuff!! |
The helicopters would fly right over our houses and fill up their buckets in Utah Lake.
