Brielle and some of her friends decided they wanted to try out for cheer (I can't believe that they have cheer squads this young) so after many nights of practicing their dance routine, their cheer and tumbling, they came over to our house for one last practice and, of course, you cant't try out without having your nails painted! They did them yellow and blue for "Westlake Thunder"! Yay...Go Westlake Cheerleaders!!
We got her hair done up and her lip gloss on...notice the cute nails...and she was ready to go!
Congrats to all the girls! They made it! These are a few of the girls on Brielle's 5th grade squad. They will cheer at the 5th grade football games, they will be in 2 parades in the summer, and they will compete in two different competitions in the fall, not to mention the required weekly tumbling classes and all the early morning practices! Brielle is super excited and we are looking forward to watching our cute, little (she is the smallest...just by a head or two) cheerleader do her thing!
