This has been the craziest winter ever...we have had hardly any snow! I'm not complaining...until it gets into the 30's...and then my thoughts are...if it's this cold...it may as well be snowing! Anyways, we have headed up to the mountains a few times to find the cold, white stuff, and we found plenty of it! We went to Snowbird with the Lybbert family and had so much fun skiing and snowboarding! This was Emery's second time ever on skis...and she did awesome!

Emery and Mallory had a blast skiing down the slopes together! They were so cute and Mallory was great to give Emery words of encouragement!
Enjoying our lunch!
We couldn't have picked a more gorgeous day to spend on the slopes!
Speaking of gorgeous...
I LOVE to go up to my parents cabin! It is always so beautiful and peaceful up there. We have gone up a couple times this year so far. The first time up was just for the day to do some sledding with the family.
Brielle was learning a thing or two from Caden about snowboarding!
The boys getting all the sleds tied up behind the 4-wheelers so we could go on our adventure!

On President's Day weekend, we went up to the Cabin with our friends, the Kehoe family. We were able to stay for 2 nights and we had so much fun! We played games, watched movies, relaxed, ate lots of good food, drank lots of hot chocolate, and got plenty of sledding/4-wheeling time. It was snowing while we were up there for part of the time...which made it extra cozy!! The kids had so much fun, each with their own friend.
If Caden and Zack weren't outside in the snow building a snow cave, making a snow jump, snowboarding, riding the 4-wheelers, or sledding...then they were in the cabin on their i-pads/i-touches playing games. Let's just say we didn't see too much of these boys! They were in their element!
Zack catching some air off the jump they made!
The girls were another story...they could only handle so much of the 18 degree weather (they must take after their Mom's)...so they didn't last quite as long outdoors as their brothers and Dads! But, they sure had fun playing games, making up a puppet show for all of us, and playing in the play house in the basement with their build-a-bears!

After sledding down this big hill, someone on a 4-wheeler would come pick everyone up! It was a blast! Thanks Kehoe's for a super fun weekend!
