December is always such a busy, fun month...and this year was no different! Sitting on Santa's lap is always a highlight...especially for my girls. For Emery, it's so exciting until it's her turn...and then she gets all shy and quiet. But Brielle, on the other hand, could sit on Santa's lap all day! Caden just goes with the flow! :)
CHRISTMAS MORNING
Emery was a pretty good girl this year...there were times we wondered if Santa would bring her presents...but she must have done something right, because she got everything she asked for...and then some! The one thing she was especially excited to see on Christmas morning was this cute little "walking puppy".
There was no question if Santa would bring Brielle presents or not. She is always a good girl and is always so sweet to everyone around her! She wanted a new bike and was happy to see it had hand brakes and gears!
Caden, too, was a good boy this year and was thrilled to wake up and unwrap his very first pellet gun! This kinda freaked mom out a little bit...but I guess I have to realize that boys will be boys, right?!
It's always fun to see Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas day to show off what the kids got and open even more presents!
CHRISTMAS EVE
It's a tradition to go to Grandma and Grandpa Allen's house on Christmas Eve for dinner and fun! It's great to be together with family...and my kids love to be with their little cousins!
All the kids got new pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa.
We headed over to Nana and Papa's house for more fun and games with their older cousins, Daije and Mariah. We especially had fun playing Twister!!
DANCE RECITAL
Emery loves taking dance at our neighbor's house with all her friends! They did 2 cute little dances for us and had us all laughing...these girls are hilarious!

Her dance teacher always gives them an ornament at the end of the recital...so cute!
WHITE ELEPHANT PARTY
What is Christmas without White Elephants!! My family got together for dinner and white elephants...and what a blast we had! We all came up with some pretty good ones...plus some gifts from the past that keep on giving! :)
Jenn was excited about her Obama Chia-Pet!
Mark and Megan liked all their used toiletries...which included a used bar of soap with hair all over it! That gross thing ended up getting thrown at each other all night! Who brought that?? Yuck!! :)
My parents were the lucky recipients of silly portraits of themselves from a Halloween party that we had a few years back! :)
Angie got a crazy sweatshirt, and Mike got the DDD bra that has been going around our family for a few years now!
John and Chelle were the proud owners of a fire screensaver DVD! Jason and I ended up with used Jazz tickets! We thought they were real at first...and then we looked at the game date and realized it had past! It was a super fun night out and is definitely one of my favorite traditions that I will make sure we keep up!!
